As I´m furnishing my first blog in Spanish, I wonder if any English writing colleague is aware of the incredible gap between English Science blogger community and the rest-of-the-world ones. If you don´t write in English you don´t exist, do you? Of course, science topics are usually English traded and sold. But I would be more than happy to hear (read) about someone who is blogging in Spanish about Science, Health and Media coverage. Are you one?

Yes, I agree with you: in the Web arena, until now, if you don´t write (about science) in english you are heading into trouble. Or, at least, into the nothingness.
But cheer up! You can do one of two things:
a) Write in chinese (take into account their growing numbers!! (Their figures in web users, they have just grabbed the # 1 place).
b) Wait a couple or years, (blogging with patience in the meantime) because spanish speaking people in Latin American countries are going to the cyberspace, one step at a time.
Perhaps, this space -in the near future- will gain more and more importance. And, if this is finally the case, the first bloggers that are NOW leaving theirs footprints on the cyberspace, will be the leaders of tomorrow.
